Kevin A. Nery - CBB, CBI, M&AMI, President
Kevin A. Nery, CBB, CBI, M&AMI, President, has over 30 years of business experience in the areas of accounting, taxation, management, manufacturing, marketing and consulting. He has achieved the Certified Business Broker (CBB), Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and Merger and Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) professional designations. Mr. Nery is a Graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Degree in Accounting. As a professional business intermediary he is able to utilize his personal and professional experiences in start-ups, buying, selling, and owning his own companies. Mr. Nery has held positions in banking, manufacturing, with CPA firms and a retail corporation prior to founding the firm in 2000. Over the years, Mr. Nery has valued and sold over 100 businesses. He has extensive knowledge of business sales, mergers, acquisitions, and business valuations. Mr. Nery is affiliated nationally with The International Business Brokers Association, The M & A Source, The Association of Professional Merger & Acquisition Advisors, Brokers Network Group, and The National Equipment Business Brokers Institute. Kevin currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA) and is the organization's Treasurer.
Raymond L. Messier - Senior Associate
Raymond L. Messier, Senior Associate, has over 40 years of business experience in the areas of management, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, government and consulting. His educational background includes Boston College, Villanova, University of Pittsburgh, University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School), Rider University and the Insurance Society of Philadelphia. He holds Professional Designation of CPCU-Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, CLU-Chartered Life Underwriter, ARM-Associate in Risk Management, and AIM-Associate in Management. Ray is a Massachusetts licensed Real Estate Broker and handles all Commercial, Industrial and Office Sales and Leasing for our Coastal Commercial Real Estate Sales and Leasing company. Mr. Messier is able to utilize his personal and professional experiences in buying, selling and owning his own businesses to successfully represent you and your company.
Ridgway J. Crouch - SBA, CMEA, Senior Associate
Ridgway J. Crouch, SBA, CMEA, Senior Associate, has over 35 years of business experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, management, manufacturing, computer network and communication systems, and financial analysis. Mr. Crouch is a Graduate of California State University, Sonoma with a Degree in Business Administration. He has a diverse educational background which includes Bryant University, the University of Michigan, and professional certificate programs completed nationally. He has held Senior Management positions in the energy, manufacturing, security technology and government contracting industries. Mr. Crouch has also been active on the Board of Directors of local, regional and statewide organizations. Ridgway is an experienced and effective communicator, negotiator and facilitator. Mr. Crouch has achieved the Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) and the Senior Business Analyst (SBA) professional designations. Ridgway leads our affiliated Company, Coastal Machinery and Equipment Appraisers, which performs Appraisals on all Machinery and Equipment categories such as Manufacturing, Transportation, Construction, Agriculture, Printing, Medical/Dental, Marine, Aircraft, Restaurants, etc.
Rob Stephens - Associate
Rob Stephens, Associate, has over 35 years business experience in owning, operating, and selling small to medium size businesses. He has been a hands-on owner of marinas, boatyards, award-winning restaurants, and product distribution companies. Mr. Stephens is a graduate of Syracuse University, with post graduate studies in business management and law at the University of Colorado. During his business career he has been active on local economic development and Chamber of Commerce boards. His personal and professional experience in purchasing, owning, operating, and selling businesses enables him to properly represent you and your company during the transaction process. Rob leads our affiliated company, Coastal Business Brokers (CBB), which focuses on companies with sale prices of up to one million dollars.
Lori A. Nery - CBR, LMS, GRI, Vice-President
Lori A. Nery, CBR, LMS, GRI, Vice-President, is a full-time professional Real Estate Broker. She is a UMASS Dartmouth Graduate with a Degree in Management and over 30 years of business experience and has achieved the Certified Buyer Representative, Loss Mitigation Specialist, Whale Historical House Specialist and Graduate Realtor Institute of Massachusetts designations. Lori serves on the Board of Directors of Southeastern Massachusetts Association of Realtors. Ms. Nery leads our affiliated real estate companies, Coastal Realty and Coastal Commercial Real Estate Sales and Leasing, representing Sellers and Buyers of Residential, Commercial, Office and Industrial Real Estate. She has extensive experience in commercial and industrial property leasing, sales, and consulting for commercial real estate projects.
Jillian B. Nery - Intern
Jillian B. Nery, our Intern, is currently a MBA Candidate at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. Jillian is an honors graduate of the John F. Welch College of Business, and majored in Accounting at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Jillian assists in areas of marketing, accounting, and administration for The Nery Corporation and Coastal Business Brokers, as well as Coastal Realty, our real estate division, when she is home from school.
